IT Cybersecurity Specialist (Infosec)
Overview

    💲  $55,924 – $88,926 per year.
    📍  Letterkenny Army Depot (Chambersburg), Pennsylvania.

Duties
  • Perform analysis of log files from a variety of sources, e.g., individual host logs, network traffic logs, firewall logs and intrusion detection system IDS logs to identify possible threats to system and network security.
  • Correlate incident data to identify specific vulnerabilities and make recommendations that enable remediation of system, network and enterprise level vulnerabilities.
  • Perform cyber defense incident triage, to include determining scope, urgency and potential impact; identifying the specific vulnerability; and making recommendations that enable containment and remediation.
  • Investigate, analyze and respond to cyber incidents within the network environment or enclave.

  • Perform work that involves ensuring the confidentiality, integrity and availability of systems, networks and enhancing information systems security programs, policies, procedures and tools.
  • Perform systems analysis and design techniques including data and process modeling, alternative design approaches relevant to the application area, configuration management, and computer equipment applications, designs and design changes.
  • Review proposals for changes which consist of objectives, scope and users’ expectations. Address problems requiring significant departure from established practice.
  • Perform in-depth analysis of automated systems to accomplish design and programming assignment.
