NM State Diving heads back to the pool this weekend, taking its group to the City in the Pines for a matchup with Northern Arizona.

FLAGSTAFF, Ariz. – NM State Diving heads back to the pool this weekend, taking its group to the City in the Pines for a matchup with Northern Arizona. The Aggies are fresh off a Senior Day victory over Grand Canyon, prevailing 173-127 on Jan. 11.
Mira Tinani shined for the Crimson & White against the Lopes, taking the 1-meter crown and coming in second in the 3-meter dive. As a unit, Addison Pastiak and Peytton Moore joined Tinani with solid performances. The trio all fell within the top four of both dive events, taking four of six podium finishes.

In November 2024, the divers also went to Flagstaff for a matchup with the Lumberjacks. Tinani wound up with a 10thplace finish in the 3m championship and the eighth-best score in the 1m, while coming in fourth on the platform. Peytton Moore and Addison Pastiak finished 10th and 12th in the same event, respectively.

After the conclusion of the Lumberjack Diving Invite, NM State next returns to action the following weekend. New Mexico will host a meet as the Aggie swimmers and divers wrap up the regular season in Albuquerque. The dual with the Lobos is set to begin at Noon on Saturday, Feb. 8.
