Doña Ana County Fire Rescue hosted an advanced NFPA 1400 training session on February 7, offering regional fire service instructors hands-on drills, compliance strategies, and risk management techniques.

DAFR also led a one-hour session on “Reaching Today’s Learner: Microlearning for the Fire Service,” where Deputy Chief Feijoo discussed multi-generational learning preferences and how to implement short, impactful microlearning sessions for fire skills.

This training strengthens firefighter preparedness, ensuring they are always ready to serve our community with excellence. Also participating were: Las Cruces Fire, Sunland Park Fire Department, Mesilla Fire Department and Fort Bliss Fire Department.
