Doña Ana County will commemorate Juneteenth

Doña Ana County’s administrative offices will be closed Wednesday, June 19 in observance of the Juneteenth holiday.

Juneteenth National Independence Day is a United States federal holiday that commemorates the ending of slavery in the United States.

First responders and law enforcement in the field will remain active through the holiday. Regular business hours for administrative offices will resume at 8 a.m. Thursday, June 20.
