To observe Memorial Day, most Doña Ana County administrative offices will be closed Monday, May 27.

Memorial Day is a federal holiday in the United States to honor and mourn the U.S. military personnel who died while serving in the United States Armed Forces.

Emergency services and law enforcement in the field will not be affected, but the administrative offices of the Detention Center, Sheriff’s Office, Emergency Management and the Fire Rescue Department will be closed.

Regular operating hours for all offices will resume at 8 a.m. Tuesday, May 28.
