The Parks & Recreation Department is replacing the grass near the splash-pad area at the Downtown Plaza de Las Cruces, 151 N. Church Street. The grass will be switched to a more sustainable synthetic turf.

This renovation began today, Monday, June 24, 2024. While construction is in progress, surrounding southeast areas and the parking lot will be blocked for the public’s safety until the project is complete.
