The Bureau of Land Management office here in Las Cruces would like to wish everyone a Happy Easter this Sunday and remind everyone that if they decide to celebrate on public lands, to be safe, not to litter including confetti. These eggs left behind are littering and are subjects to fines.
Remember to HAVE FUN! All our recreation sites will be open as normal if you decide to come and enjoy the day with us. No matter how you decide to spend it, enjoy your Easter Sunday!

What to Know
Looking forward to spending Easter weekend in Organ Mountains-Desert Peaks National Monument? Visitation is typically much higher during Easter Weekend than during other weekends, meaning parking can be limited. We ask that you have patience and take direction from staff and volunteers with where to park and maybe plan to carpool.

Day use cost is $5 per vehicle while Aguirre Spring individual campsites have first come first serve and cost $7 per vehicle a night. Carpooling is encouraged. Fees can be paid with tap credit card/mobile pay options at our electronic kiosks or by cash/check at our Iron Ranger boxes next to the kiosks.
