Looking for something fun (and FREE) to do this summer?
Beginning June 16 through July 25, 2025, the City of Las Cruces Parks & Recreation Department invites youth and families to enjoy Open Recreation at East Mesa Recreation Center — 5589 Porter Drive.
Open Rec Hours:
Monday – Friday | 8 a.m. – 5 p.m.
This self-guided program offers a safe, supervised space packed with fun indoor and outdoor activities — all FREE for youth!
What’s Included:
Indoor basketball & volleyball
Cornhole and fun games
Free breakfast & lunch (Summer Food Program)
Playground
Outdoor basketball courts
Fitness court
Cool indoor space to relax and connect
No registration needed!
Just check in at the front desk when you arrive and enjoy the day!
Team Practice?
Teams and groups can reserve gym time for indoor practice — just call ahead to schedule your spot!
