DALLAS – NM State senior Itay Feigin has been named to the CUSA All-Academic Team for the second consecutive year, the league office announced Friday morning. Feigin is one of just six student-athletes across the conference to earn the prestigious honor.

To be eligible for the CUSA All-Academic Team, student-athletes must be at least a sophomore, maintain a cumulative GPA of 3.2 or higher, and compete in at least 75% of their team’s matches throughout the season.
A native of Ashdod, Israel, Feigin is one of three seniors on the NM State roster and has served as a cornerstone for the Aggies, competing at the No. 1 spot in both singles and doubles. He holds a 6-13 singles record and a 6-5 mark in doubles play this spring.
Feigin’s season also includes being named the CUSA Athlete of the Week and earning Doubles Team of the Week honors during the final week of the regular season following a strong performance against Pratt Community College on March 20. He became just the second Aggie this season to collect those honors.
