As New Mexicans prepare to protest the Trump administration’s draconian and disturbing immigration crackdown, let’s remember we can make our voices heard without breaking the law or resorting to violence or vandalism. Protests are a powerful tool. However, they must be peaceful. In this state, we have zero tolerance for violence. Protesters, please remember to express your opinions in a peaceful and lawful way.
