About 8:15 p.m. Friday, June 7, 2024, firefighters were dispatched to a structure fire at 2501 El Camino Real. Upon arrival, crews found flames coming from a single-wide mobile home.

Firefighters were able to bring the fire under control within minutes.

Firefighters learned that a resident was inside the home when the fire began and was removed before crews arrived on scene. The resident was evaluated for smoke inhalation on scene and transported to a local hospital for further care.
