Parking for Pan Am Center

Free parking is available for NMSU Special Events on the east side of Arrowhead Drive across the street from NMSU’s Pan American Center. Parking in the lots adjacent to the Pan American Center requires a permitbetween the hours of 8 a.m. – 4:30 p.m. Monday-Friday. Free visitor permits are available here.

Handicap Parking is located on the north half of Pan Am’s east lot.

Emergency Evacuation Procedures for Pan Am Center

Pan American Center personnel have been properly trained in emergency evacuation procedures to ensure the safe evacuation of all patrons, including those guests with disabilities, in the event of an emergency. Please pay careful attention to personnel instructions during an evacuation.

Restrooms

All restrooms are accessible. There is one restroom available for a person with a disability accompanied by an attendant, or for a child accompanied by an opposite sex parent in the west lobby next to the information booth behind section 110. View map.

Service Animals/Guide Dogs 

Animals or pets of any kind are prohibited in the Pan American Center with the exception of trained service animals and service animals in training for guests with disabilities. Service animals are welcome inside the venue, but must remain on a leash or in a harness at all times. Service animals will rest in the seating area of the individual with a disability, rather than in the aisle. A guest whose service animal poses a threat to the safety of other Pan American Center guests or employees may be asked to escort the animal off the premises.

Wheelchairs

A limited number of wheelchairs are available for transporting guests from the entrance to their seating location. Guests are asked to supply their own wheelchair if they need one for the duration of the event. Guests may arrange for wheelchair assistance by contacting an event staff member at any entrance. Guests needing assistance after the event should contact an event staff member, or visit the Information Booth in Section 110.
