Sometimes, it’s the small moments that speak the loudest. While out conducting an inspection, Peter didn’t hesitate to go above and beyond when someone needed help.
“While Peter was conducting an inspection, he heard a woman calling out from across the parking lot. She was seated in her truck, calling, ‘Excuse me, sir!’
Peter approached her, and she asked if he could assist with lifting her wheelchair onto the back of the vehicle. Without hesitation, Peter responded with kindness and respect, carefully helping her and ensuring the wheelchair was secure and that she was comfortable.
It was a brief interaction, but it spoke volumes about Peter’s character. His willingness to offer help unprompted demonstrated a genuine commitment to supporting others.
The City of Las Cruces added: “Thank you, Peter, for representing the City of Las Cruces with compassion and showing cariño.”
