Attend the City’s Ethel Avenue and Houma Street Reconstruction Project Public Information Meeting beginning at 5:30 p.m. on Thursday, May 22, 2025 at Las Cruces City Hall Conference rooms 2007 B&C to learn more about the upcoming road construction project.

Public Works staff will present the project plan to attendees. The project involves a complete reconstruction of Ethel Avenue and Houma Street. Improvements will include replacing and upgrading the pavement, curb and gutter, curb ramps, street lighting, and signage.

It also includes replacing main utility lines for storm drains, sanitary sewer, water, and gas.
