RICHMOND, Va. – The New Mexico State swimming and diving programs have been selected as a Fall Scholar All-America Team by the College Swimming and Diving Coaches Association (CSCAA).

The list of schools that earned the award encompassed 781 teams from 459 institutions across NCAA Divisions I-III, NAIA and NJCAA. Teams were selected based on their Fall 2024 semester grade point averages and represented a total of 19,209 student-athletes.
19 leagues in Division I placed 100% of its active men’s and women’s teams on the list, including the Western Athletic Conference; which NM State Swim & Dive call home. 179 women’s programs at the Division I level made the cut of at least a 3.0 GPA, led by Missouri with a 3.86. NM State was one of 135 institutions to post a total of 3.50 or higher
The Crimson & White posted a 3.52 GPA for the spring semester to mark the 39th straight semester under Head Coach Rick Pratt that the squad has achieved at least a 3.2 average. Eight Aggies recorded a perfect 4.0 semester GPA in the fall of 2024.
Founded in 1922, the College Swimming and Diving Coaches Association of America (CSCAA), is the nation’s first organization of college coaches. The mission of the CSCAA is to advance the sport of swimming and diving with coaches at the epicenter of leadership, advocacy, and professional development.
