Knights Advance to 5A Championship to Avenge Only Loss Against Volcano Vista

Organ Mountain High School defeated Albuquerque High in the Class 5A Semifinals.

The Knights of Organ Mountain High School defeated the Albuquerque High Bulldogs 56-47 in the semifinal round of the tournament to earn a spot in the Championship.

The only loss the Knights have had all season came almost 40 games ago against the very Volcano Vista Squad they will be facing in the Championship. The Hawks of Volcano Vista also have only one loss on the season.

The match is scheduled to start at 8 p.m. at “the Pit” in Albuquerque this Saturday, March 16.
