Las Cruces Public Libraries will partner with the Internal Revenue Service (IRS) to offer the Volunteer Income Tax Assistance (VITA) Program from February through April 2024.

The program will be available at the City’s three library locations: Thomas Branigan Memorial Library, 200 E. Picacho Ave.; Sage Café branch library, 6121 Reynolds Drive; and Munson branch library, 975 S. Mesquite St. Volunteers are trained by the IRS to help citizens do their taxes for free.

The days and times residents can come for assistance will be posted at each library and on the Las Cruces Public Libraries website and social media, so residents can come on a drop-in basis to get help.
