The Lunchbox Lemonade series encourages Las Cruces residents of all ages to have lunch, from 11 a.m. to 2 p.m., with the Community Outreach Team at an area splash pad. Participants can visit with team members, discuss police matters and share their concerns about public safety while their kids cool off in the park’s splash pad.

Friday’s Lunchbox Lemonade will be held from 11 a.m. to 2 p.m. Friday, July 12, at the Unidad Park Splash Pad, 1501 E. Hadley Ave.

Participants are encouraged to bring their own sack lunch. LCPD will provide free popsicles and cool lemonade courtesy of a community partnership with Raising Cane’s restaurant.

The Lunchbox Lemonade series will be held from 11 a.m. to 2 p.m. at various splash pads throughout Las Cruces, including:

  • July 12, Unidad Park Splash Pad, 1501 E. Hadley Ave.
  • July 26, Plaza De Las Cruces Splash Pad, 100 N. Main St.
