Las Cruces Public Libraries and “Star Wars” enthusiasts are celebrating May the 4th Week with several events from May 6-10 at Thomas Branigan Memorial Library, 200 E. Picacho Ave.

May the 4th “Star Wars” Week Events:
- Costume Contest, 6-7:30 p.m. on Tuesday, May 6. Show off your favorite “Star Wars” costume in a Costume Contest. Prizes will be awarded to children and adults.
- “Star Wars” Art Exhibition, 6-7:30 p.m. on Wednesday, May 7. See the “Star Wars” Art Exhibition. Bring your art submissions by 1 p.m., May 6. Participants can bring as many art pieces as they like, but only one can be entered in the contest. Prizes will be awarded to kids and adults.
- “Star Wars” Trivia, 6-7:30 p.m. Tuesday, May 8. Test your knowledge of “Star Wars” with trivia. Play in teams of up to six people to win prizes. All ages are welcome.
- “Star Wars” movie screening, 11 a.m. Saturday, May 10. End your week on a fun note with a “Star Wars” movie screening.
