Murderous Reads, a group discussion of books from a different mystery series each month, meets at 1 p.m. on the third Wednesday of each month. The group meets in the second floor conference room at Thomas Branigan Memorial Library, 200 E. Picacho Ave. Participants can also join the discussion via Zoom.

Participants can read some or all of the books in the series. Because the focus of the group discussion is the series, participants tend to gain more from the discussions when they have a broader knowledge of the entire series.

The July 17 Murderous Reads discussion will focus on the Posadas County series by Steven F. Havill. In August, the group will delve into Rex Stout’s “Nero Wolfe” series. Other Murderous Reads discussions will examine Kathy Reichs’ “Temperance Brennan” series in September and J.J. Dupuis’ “Creature X” in October.

Zoom information and titles in each series are available online.
