Doña Ana County, NM – Doña Ana County officials are notifying residents and motorists of a temporary road closure due to a manhole collapse at 99 Myers Rd. During repairs today, a large void was discovered underneath this section of the road, which was caused by the collapse of the manhole. Crews are continuing work to fix the issue and repair the road.

To ensure the safety of the public, a section of Myers Rd. will be closed. Residents living east of the closed section on Myers Rd. will be rerouted to the east, traveling along Myers Rd. before turning onto the north side of the Mesquite Drain Levee Rd. and then turning onto Tarin Rd. to access Ward Rd. This detour will be used for both incoming and outgoing traffic.

County representative added: “We thank residents for their patience and cooperation as we work to complete the necessary repairs as quickly and safely as we can.”
