Never Too Much: New Mexico Jazz Arts Festival June 13 through June 22

Events and performances are happening all over the city between Friday, June 13 and Sunday, June 22.

Join the New Mexico Jazz Arts Festival and Branigan Cultural to celebrate Juneteenth on the Plaza! Drop by the Plaza de Las Cruces on Sunday, June 15 from 4pm to 9pm.

We will host a “Community Celebration” from 4pm to 6pm with music and dance. The Joe Dunn Big Band will play starting at 8pm.

This program will be held at the Plaza de Las Cruces at 100 North Main Street and is free with no reservations are required.

Third Line Jazz Trio plays a mashup of traditional jazz, jazzy pop, and latin tunes. We feature a style based on interplay and individual expression. The group includes Mike Sunjka on guitar, Arnold Schnitzer on string bass, and Brian Wright on Drums.

For the festival performance, they’re going to mix it up between jazz standard jams and playing arrangements.
