The New Mexico Finance Authority (NMFA) will host a workshop from 10 a.m. to noon Thursday, March 14, 2024, regarding public financing options for local businesses.

The workshop will be in Council Chambers at City Hall, 700 N. Main St.
NMFA is New Mexico’s partner in building economic prosperity and stronger communities. It offers a wide variety of financing programs for infrastructure, capital equipment, and economic development.
NMFA programs include Public Project Revolving Fund, Drinking Water State Revolving Loan Fund, Water Project Fund, Colonias Infrastructure Fund, Local Government Planning Fund, New Markets Tax Credit Program, Economic Development Revolving Fund, Primary Care Capital Fund and Behavioral Health Capital Fund, Opportunity Enterprise Revolving Fund, Venture Capital Program, Small Business Credit Initiative (SSBCI) for small businesses, and the Charter School Facility Loan Program.
Participants are encouraged to bring their project ideas to this interactive workshop on NMFA’s programs to find out how they can help meet the community’s needs.
