July 24-27, 2024, NMHSCA will honor several coaches from our broader community, including Coach of the Year (Keith Leupold/Volleyball) and Hall of Honor Inductee (Jimmy Miller/Football).

The New Mexico High School Dinner and Awards Show will be on Thursday, July 25th at 5:30 pm at the Albuquerque Convention Center. At the event, the NMHSCA will recognize its 2024 Hall of Honor Inductees, the Ralph Bowyer Coaching for Character Awardee, the Distinguished Service Awardee, the 2024 NMHSCA Coaches & Assistant Coaches of the Year, and the 2024 Level IV Milestone Coaches.  If you plan to attend the event, please get in touch with Buster Mabrey at tmabrey@nmhsca.com to confirm your attendance.

On Friday, July 26th, 2024, at the Albuquerque Convention Center during the NMHSCA General Meeting at 4:30 pm, the NMHSCA will recognize the 2023/2024 State Champions & the Level I, II, & III Milestone Coaches.

Jimmy Miller, 18-year head coach of the Las Cruces High School Bulldawgs football team, will be inducted into the NMHSCA Hall of Honor. Winning 167 games, including 8 District championships and 6 State titles, Miller is set to join an elite group of local coaches. (Prior inductees include: Keith Leupold, George Maya, Michael Bradley, Bob Ogas, Mike Draper, Dave Graham, Jim Bradley and Rudy Camunez.)
