Aggies claim three singles wins and two doubles victories to seal a flawless performance.

The Aggies kicked off the UNLV Quad in dominant fashion, securing a commanding 4-0 victory over UC Riverside in their opening match. NM State showcased their strength with three singles wins and two doubles triumphs, while four unfinished matches were leaning in their favor when play was halted.
NM State set the tone early in singles action, capturing three decisive victories. Sophomore Lance Urlaub built on his strong start to the spring season with a 6-3, 6-2 win over Lucas Mszyca. Freshman Matias Rojas earned his first win of the spring in impressive style, dominating Alexey Efremov 6-1, 6-1. Meanwhile, Holland Snell cruised to a 6-3, 6-1 victory against Lucas Ibarrondo Suarez.
Two additional matches were unfinished but looked promising for the Aggies. Gustavo Campos was ahead 6-1 in the first set and held a narrow lead in the second, while Itay Feigin led his match 6-2 in the first set before play was stopped.
The Crimson & White were equally dominant in doubles. The pairing of Itay Feigin and Matias Rojas edged past Arav Sane and Ryan Huynh in a hard-fought 6-4 battle. Meanwhile, Tobias Wallin and Gustavo Campos delivered a flawless performance, blanking Lucas Ibarrondo Suarez and Justin Lamy 6-0. Lance Urlaub and Holland Snell were also leading 5-4 in their match before it was cut short.

The Aggies return to action tomorrow, Saturday, Jan. 25, when they take on host UNLV in their second match of the weekend.
