Doña Ana County - The Doña Ana County Treasurer’s Office will rpovide offsite convenient payment and customer service opportunities to residents in rural communities throughout Doña Ana County, during the week of April 21. Second half property taxes are due Saturday, May 10 and payments can be made at the Government Center, 845 N. Motel Blvd., during regular business hours. Residents will also be able to make payments, ask questions and take care of other tax-related property concerns at the following locations on the specified dates, from 9 a.m. to 1 p.m. and from 2 p.m to 4 p.m.: Monday, April 21 Lake Section Water 303 Paseo Real Drive; Chaparral, NM 88081 Tuesday, April 22 Anthony City Hall 820 Highway 478; Anthony, NM 88021 Wednesday, April 23 Sunland Park City Hall 1000 McNutt Road; Sunland Park, NM 88063 Thursday, April 24 Hatch Village Office 133 Franklin St.; Hatch, NM 87937 Payment can also be made in by: Mail. SANTA FE – The Taxation and Revenue Department has scheduled delinquent property tax auctions in De Baca, Roosevelt, and Chaves counties during the month of June.

The state attempts to collect delinquent property taxes when counties are unable to collect for themselves. The state notifies delinquent taxpayers about the taxes due and planned sales of delinquent property. If the state is unable to collect the delinquent taxes, the subject properties are auctioned for sale.

Auctions have been scheduled in the following counties:

  • De Baca County, 9 a.m., June 11, at Ft. Sumner District Court, 248 E Avenue C, Fort Sumner, NM 88119
  • Roosevelt County, 1 p.m., June 11, at, 109 W 1st St, Portales, NM 88130
  • Chavez County, 10 a.m., June 12, at Chaves County Administrative Center, #1 St. Mary’s Pl, Roswell, NM 88203.

Registration begins in person at 8 a.m. on the day of the auction and ends promptly at auction time. Bidders must be registered to participate.
