The Branigan Book Club’s monthly meeting begins at 6:30 p.m. Tuesday, Feb. 25, in the Kiva Room on the first floor of Thomas Branigan Memorial Library, 200 E. Picacho Ave., on Roadrunner Transit Route 1. The Branigan Book Club meets the fourth Tuesday of each month.

The book club generally discusses books with a more serious and literary focus and reads both fiction and nonfiction. In March the club will discuss “The Women” by Kristen Hannah. April’s discussion will be on “Beaverland: How One Weird Rodent Made America” by Leila Philip. And, in May, the Branigan Book Club we will discuss “Vera Wong’s Unsolicited Advice for Murderers” by Jesse Q. Sutanto.
