Sergio Martinez, the 12-year-old Las Cruces boy reported missing on Sunday, July 7, has been located and is safe.

Police are asking for the public’s help locating a 12-year-old Las Cruces boy who has not been seen by his foster parents since early Sunday evening.

Sergio Martinez was last seen about 7 p.m. Sunday, June 7, 2024, on the 200 block of Wall Avenue in Las Cruces. It’s believed Martinez ran away from the area. His destination is unknown.

Martinez is 5-feet tall and weighs approximately 140 pounds. He has brown hair and brown eyes.

He was last seen wearing a blue sweatshirt with “New Mexico” printed on the front, black pants and black shoes.

Anyone with information on the whereabouts of 12-year-old Sergio Martinez is asked to call police at (575) 526-0795.
