Notice of June Hydrant Flushes/Testing in Santa Teresa
The Dona Ana County Fire Department, in conjunction with the Camino Real Regional Utility Authority (CRRUA,) will conduct periodic hydrant flushes/testing during the month of June 2025 in the unincorporated areas of Santa Teresa, NM including the residential area and industrial district.
The actions may result in discolored water due to the disturbance of naturally occurring minerals in the distribution system. Although the water is safe to drink, CRRUA recommends waiting for the water to become clear before washing laundry.
The discoloration should disappear within 24 hours. If it does not, flush faucets for several minutes.

- Aviso de Lavados/Pruebas de Hidrantes de Junio en Santa Teresa
El Departamento de Bomberos del Condado de Doña Ana, junto con la Autoridad Regional de Servicios Públicos de Camino Real (CRRUA), llevará a cabo descargas/pruebas periódicas de hidrantes durante el mes de junio de 2025 en las áreas no incorporadas de Santa Teresa, NM, incluida el área residencial y el distrito industrial.
Las acciones pueden resultar en agua descolorida debido a la perturbación de los minerales naturales en el sistema de distribución. Aunque el agua es potable para beber, CRRUA recomienda esperar a que el agua se aclare antes de lavar la ropa.
La decoloración debería desaparecer en 24 horas. Si no es así, enjuague los grifos durante varios minutos.
