The City of Las Cruces is funding a Pre-Apprenticeship Program to support the Culinary Arts. It is our goal to provide the next step in the student’s learning by identifying onsite training locations with local businesses.

The Pre-Apprenticeship Program will provide funding to cover wages of $15.90 per hour up to 400 hours per student. Worker’s Compensation Coverage is provided along with $300.00 for any required items needed to begin working such as clothing and/or tools.

Businesses are not limited to the number of students they can accommodate. Businesses will be selected on a first come first serve basis. Please click the link for more information and sign your business up for this wonderful opportunity!
