Centennial Hawks Top La Cueva to Reach Championship Against… La Cueva

The Hawks of Centennial High School continued to take the high road, adding to their winning streak and playing themselves into the 2025 State Championship game… again.
But this time it is different.
Last year, the Hawks had to win their way through the consolation bracket and play three consecutive games in one day to reach the championship. Their path this year has been much smoother.
The Hawks will face off against the very same La Cueva team in the Championship; however, La Cueva will have to pull the same rabbit out of the hat that Centennial did last year to walk away with the blue trophy.

Bulldawgs try for Consolation Bracket Trifecta, But Come Up Short After Amazing Effort
Having lost to La Cueva in Round 1, the Bulldawgs set out to accomplish the improbable, and they came very close to doing it. After beating Alamogordo in their first Consolation Bracket challenge, the Lady Bulldawgs faced a fearsome Friday. If they hoped to advance to the Championship, they would have to win three games… in one day.
