The City of Las Cruces is working on a plan to reimagine and revitalize the neighborhoods around El Paseo and S Solano corridors between Lohman and University Avenues.
This project represents a pivotal opportunity to transform these sections of our city into thriving, pedestrian-friendly communities with a renewed focus on sustainable development and equitable growth. Our goals extend beyond revitalizing commercial and retail areas; they encompass a holistic approach to urban renewal that prioritizes infrastructure improvement, environmental sustainability, social equity, historic preservation, and public safety and health.
A public meeting will be held on Tuesday, January 28, 2025 for you to share your thoughts, and will also include the inaugural meeting of the Picacho Ave and Motel Blvd MRA.
