The ENERGY STAR® label. ENERGY STAR-qualified appliances (like washers and dryers, refrigerators, dishwashers, electric cooking products) exceed the federal minimum standards for efficiency and quality—sometimes significantly.

The EnergyGuide label. This yellow label shows you the estimated annual energy consumption and operating costs for each appliance, so you can compare products yourself.

Smart appliances. These products turn off or shift energy use to help you shift your electricity use to off-peak hours, helping you lower your utility bills. You probably won’t notice the shifts, but you will notice the savings!
