A fire in the backyard of a residence damaged a shed Monday evening.

About 6:40 p.m. Monday, May 26, 2025, Las Cruces firefighters were dispatched to the report of a fire in the backyard of a home on the 1800 block of Idaho Avenue. First arriving firefighters found heavy smoke coming from a large shed in the backyard.
