Splish, Splash: Las Cruces Parks & Rec Announce Summer Swim Lessons–Register June 7

Classes will be held Monday through Thursday, with a total of eight classes per session.

The City of Las Cruces Parks and Recreation Department will offer swim lessons from June 16 through June 26 at the Las Cruces Regional Aquatic Center, 1401 E. Hadley Avenue, and the Las Cruces Natatorium, 1405 E. Hadley Avenue.

Classes will be held Monday through Thursday, with a total of eight classes per session.

Class times are as follows:

  • Level 1: 3:30 to 4 p.m. and 4:15 to 4:45 p.m.
  • Level 2: 5 to 5:30 p.m. and 5:45 to 6:15 p.m.
  • Level 3: 6:30 to 7 p.m.
  • Mommy and Me: 6:15 to 7 p.m

Session fees:

  • Mommy and Me, Levels 1 and 2: $45 per session
  • Level 3: $60 per session

Registration will be held from 9 to 11 a.m. Saturday, June 7, at the Las Cruces Regional Aquatic Center.

Participants who do not have a Red Cross completion card and wish to register for Level 2 or higher must complete a swim evaluation. Evaluations will be conducted from 9 a.m. to 4 p.m., June 2 through June 5, Monday through Thursday. No evaluations will be conducted during registration.

Class space is limited and available on a first-come, first-served basis.
