SUNDAY GOVERNMENT SPECIAL: Aquatics Facilities Announce Summer Hours

The City of Las Cruces’ Aquatics Facilities have announced hours of operation for summer 2024.

Hours of operation, from May 25 through Sept. 2, 2024, are:

East Mesa Bataan Memorial Pool, 6141 Reynolds Drive: Two open swim sessions, Tuesday through Sunday, from noon to 3 p.m. and from 3:30 p.m. to 6:30 p.m. The pool will be closed Mondays. The East Mesa Bataan Memorial Pool opens May 25.

Laabs Pool, 701 W. Picacho Avenue: Two open swim sessions, Tuesday through Sunday, from noon to 3 p.m. and from 3:30 p.m. to 6:30 p.m. The pool will be closed Mondays. The pool opens May 25.

Las Cruces Natatorium, 1405 E. Hadley Avenue: Lap swim will be from 6 a.m. to 11 a.m. and 4 p.m. to 8 p.m. Monday through Friday and Saturdays from 8 a.m. to noon. The pool will be closed on Sunday. No reservations are required.

Las Cruces Regional Aquatic Center, 1401 E. Hadley Avenue: The second-floor fitness area and gym will be open from 7:30 a.m. to 7:30 p.m. Monday through Friday, 8 a.m. to 7 p.m. Saturday and from noon to 6:30 p.m. Sunday beginning June 1.

Fitness swim sessions will be offered from 7:30 a.m. to 11:30 a.m. Monday through Friday and from 8 a.m. to 11:30 a.m. Saturdays. There will be no fitness swim session on Sunday.

Due to limited capacities and staffing, outdoor facility exclusive rentals are available on Saturdays only. Capacities are limited and on a first-come, first-served basis. Dates, locations, activities and times are subject to change.

Metro Verde Splash Pad, 7125 Metro Park: Open from 10 a.m. to 8 p.m. Friday through Sunday. The Metro Verde Splash Pad opens daily beginning May 25.
