Researchers across the country are making great strides in understanding the biology and reproduction of pests. This research helps create pest management options that are natural, safe, and affordable. Dr. Changlu Wang at Rutgers University (OLHCHH grant recipient) studies the biology and control of urban pests – such as bed bugs and termites. Dr. Wang has collaborated with low-income communities and manufacturers to reduce indoor pest infestations and their associated health hazards.
