DALLAS – After an outstanding freshman campaign, NM State’s Holland Snell has been named to the Conference USA Second Team All-Conference Singles, as voted on by the league’s head coaches.
The El Paso, Texas native made an immediate impact in his first year with the Crimson & White. Primarily competing at the No. 3 singles position – with appearances at No. 2 and No. 4 – Snell posted a 10-7 record, the second-most singles wins on the team. His season included multiple straight-set victories against opponents from Louisiana, UNLV, UC Irvine, and UTRGV, among others.

One of Snell’s standout performances came in a hard-fought three-set battle against Nevada’s Lucas Hammond, where he emerged with a 6-3, 6-4, 6-4 win. He finished his freshman season on a high note, delivering a dominant 6-0, 6-0 sweep over Kennesaw State’s Erik Vladimirov during the Aggies’ Conference USA Tournament match.
