DALLAS – Sophomore Thomas Croshaw has been a force for the NM State Cross Country team, while also proving his talents in the classroom. On Tuesday, Conference USA announced revealed its 2024 CUSA Men’s Cross Country All-Academic Team. The Albuquerque, N.M. native was one of seven cross country athletes named to the list.

Croshaw finished 2nd running for Volcano Vista in the 2022 NMAA State Championships. For reference, Organ Mountain High School standouts Jeron Wisner and Corbin Coombs finished 17th and 21st (respectively) as sophomores in that same 2022 meet. Croshaw has proven to be a fantastic New Mexico native addition to Aggie athletics.

Croshsaw currently holds a 4.0 GPA while working toward a degree in Civil Engineering. During NM State’s cross country season, he tallied the top finish among the Aggies in each contest, including a runner-up finish at the Lobo Invitational and a 51st place finish at the 2024 NCAA Mountain Regional in Reno, Nev.

In his second season with the Crimson & White, Croshaw posted personal bests in the 5K (14:42.3), 8K (23:28.2) and the 10K (30:27.3).
