Meerscheidt Recreation Center, 1600 E. Hadley Avenue is scheduled to undergo building renovations beginning Monday, June 16, 2025. Construction crews will work from 7 a.m. to 6 p.m.

Meerscheidt will remain open and be accessible to patrons from the E. Hadley Avenue entrance. The renovation project will be phased, and initial construction will affect the west side of building which will be isolated from daily activity. Programs and activities will continue as planned but due to the nature of the work, patrons should anticipate high levels of noise, schedule modifications, and potential closures. City staff will work closely with the contractor to monitor any potential impacts to operations.
