WSMR Garrison Commander Col. Don Mozer and Garrison Command Sgt. Maj. Jamal Latore presented McAfee U.S. Army Health Clinic service members, Department of Emergency Services and Morale Welfare and Recreation employees with certificates of appreciation and civilian service achievement medals for their support during the March 22 Bataan Memorial Death March.

“This is to recognize all of you who helped put on the Bataan Memorial Death March on March 22,” Mozer said. “This is a huge event for an installation this size and we wouldn’t be able to hold this event without all of you in this room.”

“I want to thank all of you. It was a great Bataan,” Mozer said. “We had about 6,500 participants. We continue to grow. We had so much positive feedback about how great the event was.”

Awardees included the staff at the Frontier Club and the Roadrunner Bowling Center.
