Stop by the Branigan Cultural Center to experience “Land of the People: Shimba Tainin kau natheure wein,” before it closes next Saturday, November 29. This stunning exhibition takes a deeper look into Ysleta del Sur Pueblo’s journey toward federal recognition, as well as the services and enterprises that continue to strengthen their community. Don’t miss your chance to see it before it’s gone!

“Land of the People: Shimba Tainin kau natheure wein” was just one of six total rotations of our “Land of the People” exhibit backroom. During our backroom rotation installation, the entire gallery will be closed Tuesdays through Thursdays starting Tuesday, December 2 to allow our exhibits team to install a new backroom rotation. On Fridays and Saturdays, the front room will be open, while the backroom remains closed.
Land of the People will be closed for the installation of the Tortugas Pueblo rotation on 12/2 to 12/4, 12/9 to 12/11, and 12/16 to 12/19. The front room will be open to the public on 12/5, 12/6, 12/12, and 12/13. The next rotation, “Land of the People: Tierra Sagrada” will open on Saturday, December 20!
