The Las Cruces Police Department graduated four cadets from its second Park Ranger academy on Thursday, Nov. 20, 2025.
The four graduates are Jacob Arman, Crystal Holguin, Joab Lara and Brian Perez. They will now begin a four-week field training program with experienced officers.
Park Ranger is a relatively new position for the City. The park rangers are tasked with securing Las Cruces parks and help enforce laws that prohibit disorderly behavior, camping and loitering after hours.
