Doña Ana County Sheriff Kim Stewart will host a series of six public meetings throughout the county this month as part of the ‘Hits & Misses’ Community Listening Tour.

The tour is designed to provide residents with an opportunity to share feedback on the Doña Ana County Sheriff’s Office and reflect on the commitments made when Sheriff Stewart was first elected in 2018. Community members are encouraged to discuss what they believe has worked well, what could have been improved and what priorities should be considered moving forward.

Public comments gathered during the meetings will be documented and compiled into a summary that will be made available to the public and provided to the incoming Sheriff.
“Community input is essential to understanding how we serve our residents,” Sheriff Stewart said “When I took office, there was no formal record of community feedback within the Sheriff’s Office. This process helps strengthen transparency, accountability and continuity, even after my term is up.”
All meetings are open to the public, and residents are encouraged to attend the session most convenient for them.
