U.S. Bank on Wyoming: FBI Offers Reward for Information Regarding a Bank Robbery on Albuquerque’s East Side

The suspect entered the bank, verbalized that he had a bomb, and demanded cash from a teller who handed over an undisclosed amount of money to the robber.

The FBI and Albuquerque Police Department are asking for the public’s help to identify a man who robbed the U.S. Bank located at 5620 Wyoming Blvd NE on Monday, January 26, 2026, at approximately 12:25 pm.

Suspect description:

  • Height: Approximately 5’7”
  • Eyes: Brown
  • Clothing: Black and white striped poncho, dark pants, grey sneakers, light grey cross-body bag, and a white surgical mask

The suspect entered the bank, verbalized that he had a bomb, and demanded cash from a teller who handed over an undisclosed amount of money to the robber.

The FBI is offering a reward of up to $2,000 for information leading to the arrest and conviction of this suspect.

Bank robbery carries a possible prison term of up to 20 years. The use of a gun, other dangerous weapon, toy gun, or hoax bomb device during the commission of a bank robbery can be punishable by a prison term of up to 25 years.
