Road Maintenance Scheduled For Rincon Area

The Doña Ana County Road Department will fog seal roads in the Rincon area from Tuesday, February 17 through Friday, February 20.Roads scheduled for fog sealing include:

• Angostura Road
• Kit Carson Road

During the work, traffic will be reduced to one lane. The road will stay open, but drivers might experience short delays. Drivers are asked to slow down, watch for workers, and use extra caution while traveling through the work area.

Fog sealing is a road maintenance treatment that helps preserve the pavement by applying a light coat of oil to the surface. This process helps protect the road, seal small cracks, and extend the life of the pavement.

Franco Road To Close For Bridge Repairs In Vado

The Doña Ana County Road Department will close a portion of Franco Road in Vado to complete bridge repairs.

The road will be closed to through traffic from 8 a.m. Monday, February 23 through 3:30 p.m. Friday, February 27.

During the closure, traffic will be detoured through Lechuga Road and Mustang Street.

Drivers are asked to slow down, watch for workers, and use extra caution while traveling through the work area.
