2025 Awards Program: Las Cruces Police Department Names Officers and Civilians as Recipients

The annual event also recognized quarterly award recipients for Unit Commendation, Life Saving, Excellence in Police Service, and officers and civilians of each quarter along with personnel who earned promotions.

The Las Cruces Police Department named its Field Training Officer of the Year, Civilian of the Year and Officer of the Year during a 2025 Awards Program held Thursday, Feb. 19, 2026, at the New Mexico Farm and Ranch Heritage Museum.

LCPD’s Field Training Officer of the Year for 2025 is Sgt. Jesse Rogers, the Civilian of the Year is Crime Scene Investigator Norma Ibarra and Officer of the Year is Joshua Nanez.

In a statement on Facebook, LCPD added, “A well-deserved congratulations to all award recipients and thank you to all who helped organize the 2025 Awards Program.”
