Know Before You Go
Visitation is typically much higher during Easter Weekend than during other weekends, meaning parking can be limited. We ask that you have patience and take direction from staff and volunteers with where to park and maybe plan to carpool.

Day use cost is $5 per vehicle while Aguirre Spring individual campsites have first come first serve and cost $7 per vehicle a night. Carpooling is encouraged. Fees can be paid with tap credit card/mobile pay options at our electronic kiosks or by cash/check at our Iron Ranger boxes next to the kiosks.
Recreation Site Gate Entrance/Closure Hours:
- Dripping Springs Natural Area – 7 a.m. to Sunset
- with Visitor Center Operations being 8 a.m. to 5 p.m.
- Aguirre Spring – 7 a.m. to 8 p.m.
