The Las Cruces Police Department is accepting applications for PERA New Mexico retired law enforcement officers.
Retired officers selected are eligible for up to $35,000 in recruitment, retention and relocation incentives and 40 hours of annual leave upon hire. Salaries for retired officers returning to LCPD range from $30.28 to $43.68 per hour, depending on experience.

The law allows retirees to receive their earned pension, cost-of-living adjustments and their new salary for up to 36 months after returning to work.
