Around noon on Friday, Doña Ana Fire Rescue responded to a hazardous materials incident in Mesquite.
A semi-truck was leaking a hypochlorite solution on the 200 block of John Grisham Drive.
The driver reported throat irritation but declined medical treatment or transport.
Fire crews, with assistance from LCFD, successfully mitigated the situation.
